Description :
The new Christian Brothers College chapel was built in 2002, and consecrated the following year during the school's 125th anniversary celebrations. The architect was Peter McLoughlin and Partek Industries were the builders. This was the final part of a major building programme at the school. The chapel is dedicated to Edmund Rice, the Irish catholic educationist beatified in 1997, who in 1808 founded the Presentation Brothers, the order which eventually became known as the Christian Brothers.
