Description :
The SALA Festival was first held in 1998. It is a free festival of visual arts particularly celebrating living artists. Artists are given the opportunity to display their work at venues throughout Adelaide. A variety of art forms in different media are presented and the Moving Image Festival is included in the Festival's program for screen based artistic works.

The program also includes a regional tour, guided (including artist talks) and self guided walks in the city of Adelaide and many open galleries and studios.
