My great Uncle Captain James Boyes was loading a harvester onto the three masted schooner Reliance which was a converted barge when the mast snapped sending the harvester to the deck knocking a member of the crew into the water, and the rope rigging fell onto Captain James Boyes.

The crew member was helped from the water with an injured face and jaw, and Captain Boyes sustained cuts and bruises to his legs.

I have located this barge at Billy Creek Lagoon near Mildura and the owner would like it to be preserved as it is the last barge left.
