SA Memory. South Australia past and present, for the future

Places

From the scenic coast to the arid interior, South Australians share a strong sense of 'place'. SA Memory allows individuals to encounter and explore our geographical regions. Each place tells its own South Australian story, determined by its physical location and environmental conditions as well as the people within it. South Australians forged regional identities through building, trade, communications and exploration. Online sharing of information via Flickr, YouTube and Google Maps constantly develops our sense of place and enables individuals to make the state of South Australia unique.
