About the Premier and Cabinet Library Service

Welcome to the Department for the Premier and Cabinet Library service at the State Library of South Australia - a library service for all DPC staff.

Using the Quicklinks displayed on the right hand side of each page you can:

• register as a library user.
• search the State Library catalogues
• borrow from the State Library collection (Loan period for State Library owned items is 14 days.) 
• Loans are for DPC work/research related items only and there are some restrictions on what can be borrowed.
• request document delivery and interlibrary loans from other libraries (Loan period for items from other libraries is also 14 days). Loans are for DPC related work only.
• access to the State Library's Web Library
• request legal deposit services

You can access library services:

• Through this website, which is specifically for DPC Portfolio staff use, and provides a remote gateway to all services provided by the State Library to DPC Portfolio staff
• on-site during opening hours

All services are available from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and your contact person at the State Library  is Marie Maddocks- please click here for contact details.

Other selected services will be available during the State Library's extended opening hours which are:

• 10am to 8pm - Monday to Wednesday,
• 10am to 6pm - Thursday and Friday,
• 10am to 5pm - Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays - except for:
• • Christmas Day; Boxing Day; New Year's Day and Good Friday.
