In 1912 the popular American evangelists, J Wilbur Chapman and Charles M Alexander, paid a second visit to South Australia holding revival missions. Like other visiting evangelists, tours of the country districts were included in their itinerary with packed halls attesting to the widespread interest in such preachers.
