Description :

This single sheet newspaper contains information describing an accident that occurred at the Adelaide Railway Station on the morning of 29 January 1923 and may have been an insert to an evening newspaper. A special train was taking picnickers to the Kapunda sports day when it collided with the incoming Clapham train. The Clapham fireman and a passenger were killed and 26 others injured. The paper is a stop press type report of the accident with a listing of those killed and those injured. The back contains further details and results of the race meeting held the same day at Victoria Park.
