Description :
The Barossa Vintage Festival is a week long event first established in 1947. The first Festival was opened with a gala ball to celebrate the vintage and a return to better times after World War Two. The Barossa Vintage Festival is now Australia's longest running wine festival.

Events are staged throughout the Barossa Valley region located north of Adelaide. The program includes wine tastings, musical performances, meals showcasing the region's produce, a harvest market, heritage walks, art exhibitions, theatre, vineyard walks, talks and lectures and wine auctions.
