Description :

A view of the Whispering Wall in the Barossa Valley.

Part of the Barossa Reservoir, the Whispering Wall is known as such for its sound carrying properties. The circular shape of the wall causes sound to bounce in a series of straight lines from one side of the wall to the other. As a result, someone speaking at one end of the wall can be heard clearly at the other.
