Description :

Poster publicising National Aborigines Day on Friday 14th July 1967, less than two months after the Australian population had voted in the 1967 Referendum. Poster includes program of events. On Friday 14 July 1967 the annual celebrations were held at Scots Hall, North Terrace and Miss M. Valladian, an Aboriginal Social Worker from Queensland was the guest speaker. The Aboriginal concert and films was held on Saturday 15 July at YWCA Hall, North Adelaide.
