Tracks: Big Daddy Gonz -- On the rack -- Queen of Sheba -- If that's ok -- Too busy dying -- Shoot on sight -- Nutbush city limits -- Take this gun -- A night at your place -- Honey girl Originally formed in Sydney in 1982 from ex-pat Adelaidians, the band has had many incarnations since. The original line up consisted of Sharon Weatherill (vocals), Jim Selene (bass), EJ Renestair (guitar, saxophone), Martin Bland (drums). Stuart Gray joined the band in 1983 on guitar and vocals. In 1983, the band changed its name to Zulu Rattle and had one release Terror Train. Zulu Rattle folded in 1984 when Bland and Gray left to form Salamander Jim. Bloodloss reformed in Adelaide in 1986 and until 1991 included Martin Bland, EJ Renestair, Jim Selene, Sharron Weatherill, Andrew Stotch and Chris Wiley. During this time they produced a Greasy Pop self titled cassette (1986) and in 1988 the album Human Skin Suit. In 1989 they released a single Smell machine b/w Shake your leaves. Bloodloss broke up in 1990 after releasing their second album The truth is marching in. In 1993 the band was resurrected by Bland and Renestair, with Mark Arm, of Mudhoney, and Guy Maddison of Lubricated Goat, in the USA. They released an album titled Ten solid rockin' inches of rock solid rock on Californian label Sympathy For The Record Industry. Another album came out in 1996 on Californian label Burbank titled Live my way. Since 1992 the band has consisted of Martin Bland EJ Renestair, Guy Maddison and Mark Arm.
