Description :

Described by Spencer (p9) as a '1960s pop, rock band with a light headed approach to garage pop'. Were active in Adelaide from 1985-1989.

The members of the band over this period of time include James Braund (drums 1986-1988), Andrew Bunney (guitar), Nick Burton (bass), Rick De Scale (guitar 1988), Peter Graves (drums 1985-1986), Rachael Hannaford (drums 1988), Ted Keeley (vocals 1985-1988), and Richard Wharldall guitar. In 1985 there was Zippy on vocals and they were known as Zippy and the Coneheads.

Their discography consists of : single Barn Burnin (b side Action and Evil little Elmer) released by Greasy Pop in 1986; a 1987 Greasy Pop released single Chewy chewy (b side Skippin skippin skippin) ; the inclusion of two songs on the Satellite Records 1987 compilation album titled Raw cuts volume 4, Action and Evil little Elmer; Another single released by Californian label Sympathy for the Record Industry in circa 1989 titled The happiest day of her life (b side Outta my mind and Onions make me cry); Their only album Bum was released by Greasy Pop in 1990.

Andrew Bunney has since gone on to play with the Exploding White Mice, and is currently with Adelaide band The Ramonettes.
