There is an abundance of romantic and sentimental songs: happy, sad, romantic love, parental love and sibling love.Sentimental and romantic types of music are generally used to convey moods or feelings of tranquility, repose, calmness or sensuality.

Stratos Moraitis composed a number of songs including Going out to dine, The housewife and this one, Brazilian Palms, which has his portrait on the cover and the note ' Stratos Moraites: South Australia's famous composer'. His family owned the Morris Brothers' Fish Cafe at 38 Hindley Street. Note the variant spelling of his surname.
