Description :

Reconciliation Rally march in King William Street, Adelaide 27 May 2007.

A large banner made and carried by the Kaurna Plains School has the design of a boomerang superimposed over the Aboriginal flag with the words "From Past to our Future".

The young men at front left are carrying a large recepticle with fire. The rally began at Tarndanyangga (Victoria Square) and the march ended at Festival Theatre where a ceremonial smoking ceremony and flag raising of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Australian flags was held.

The event celebrated the 40th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum.
