Description :

In 1963 Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Elizabeth plant of GM-Holden.

This film stresses the advantages of the City of Elizabeth; the opportunity for industry and employment.

The Queen is greeted by employees and their families, senior executives and their spouses presented to her as she tours the factory, and she is shown two EH model cars.

The State Library holds the records, including business records, films and advertising material for General Motors Holden (GMH) and its predecessors dating back to 1854.
