Description :

In 1953, the year that Holden produced its 100,000th car, the Social Club of the Woodville plant organised this grand company picnic at Belair National Park.

After being met at the Belair train station by a pipe band, families are seen playing games, running races and relaxing on their picnic rugs.

The State Library holds the records, including business records, films and advertising material for General Motors-Holden's and its predecessors dating back to 1854.
