Description : |
Freda Tamblyn poses proudly with her doll and an ornate doll's pram. The pram or pushchair features canework and has a pair of feet for keeping the pram upright and steady when stationary. The doll appears elaborately dressed. Firms that made prams for babies also often made toy versions for dolls. These generally copied the latest developments in the full sized pram, including the steel springs and upholstery and the paint detailing on the body work or the painted wickerwork. |
