Description :

Only one issue of the Port Wakefield times is known to exist. It was published by Edward Richardson of Port Wakefield in 1876 and consists mainly of advertisements for local businesses. Snippets of local news, and even briefer items from the adjacent towns are printed alongside longer columns of parliamentary news. The local news covered the towns of Port Wakefield, Balaklava, Hoyleton, Blyth, Whitwharta and Mount Templeton.
