Description :

Records comprising the war service diary of James Wallace Mundy (service no. 2356) 1 June 1916 - 1 January 1918? (also includes several poems by Sapper B.G. Winch, names and addresses, and reminiscences) and a letter written by Mundy to his parents.


The letter, dated 1 January 1916, was written in Egypt and describes the withdrawal from Gallipoli. The diary records Mundy's experiences on the Western Front.
