The staff of W. Menz & Co. photographed outside the premises of their biscuit and confectionery factory at 80 Wakefield Street, Adelaide, South Australia. John Menz initially established a bakery in Wakefield Street in 1850. After his death his son William took over the business and renamed it W. Menz and Co. In 1892 the company expanded into the manufacture of confectionary in addition to baked goods. |
