Description :
The Moonta Mines Turks Football team, Premiers of the Yorke Peninsula Football Association (YPFA) in 1906.

Moonta Mines Young Turks Football Club was a founding member of the YPFA, and were in fact the inaugural premiers of the Association in 1888. Wearing red and blue they were also YPFA premiers in 1893, 1894, 1898, 1903, 1909 and 1932. They later changed their name simply to Turks.
