Description :

Two men pushing a cartload of grapes laid out in dip tins for the dried fruit industry at Renmark. [The tins were used for dipping the grapes in caustic soda and hot water, a process which split the skins and hastened the drying process. From here they were placed on drying racks, and then on sheets in the paddocks.]
