Description : |
Ponde, a small town near Mannum, hosted the Ponde Music Festival for 23 years from 1979 to 2002. The festival began as a group of bike enthusiasts from the Hells Angel's Motorcycle Club gathering for a party but expanded to a three-day rock music event. This newspaper article and its accompanying photographs review the festival's history just prior to the last festival, held in February 2002.
