Description :

Officers of the tenth Battalion A.I.F.


The Battalion was raised in South Australia within weeks of the declaration of war and left for Egypt in October 1914. Part of the Third Brigade, the Tenth Battalion landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. After Gallipoli the Battalion served in France until the end of hostilities on 11 November 1918.
