Description :

Selborne Hotel, Pirie Street, north side, November 25th 1935, right side of hotel is 36 yards west of Gawler Place and frontage is 16.5 yards. The Selborne Hotel was an early meeting place for the United Trades and Labor Council. On 13 June 1890 Mrs Milne, Mrs Reuin and Miss Vincent were welcomed as delegates representing the newly formed Working Women's Trades Union.
