Description :

Brochure advertising the features of the FJ Holden.

The FJ was the second model of the Holden and essentially a facelift of the 48-215. The major differences were the new horizontal style grille and differently shaped hubcaps and tail lights. In addition to the standard and business sedan and the utility, a special sedan (with luxury features) and panel van were produced. A station wagon was proposed, but never got further than the prototype stage. The special sedan was the first Holden to be offered with a two-tone exterior. The FJ sedan and ute were the first Holdens to be exported.

In 1956, an FJ was the 250,000th Holden built.
