A flock of Little corellas (Cacatua pastinator) at Mt Lyndhurst. Corellas are widespread in northern South Australia, and other parts of inland Australia, and are often seen in large flocks. They are particularly noisy. Modern farming techniques have resulted in more grain being available for the birds over extended periods resulting in greater survival in the breeding season. |
