Description : |
The map shows the long sweep the railway line made through the Murray mallee, with spur lines from Karoonda to Waikerie (opened in December 1914), to Loxton from Alawoona (opened February 1914), and the Paringa line from Meribah (opened October 1913). The railway eventually was continued across the river to Renmark in 1925. |
