Description : |
Nellie, the mechanical elephant, giving some children a ride in the 1950 Christmas Pageant. In 1933, the first John Martin's Christmas Pageant included just four bands and eight floats; the 2005 Pageant featured over 50 floats. Nellie still participates in the Christmas Pageant most years and is one of the oldest and most loved floats in the Pageant. |
