Aboriginal man posed to face the camera, dressed in skins, and carrying a bent weapon and a spear. Caption does not provide details of personal name but the South Australian Museum has recorded his name as 'Pelican'. The bent weapon is 'Mypundi', the other is 'Plongii'. The photograph was probably by Captain Samuel White Sweet, presumbably in Point McLeay area. |
