Description :
In February 1980 the Pitjantjatjara Council of Elders travelled to Adelaide to protest against the state government's decision to open part of their traditional lands to mineral exploration. They camped at Victoria Park Racecourse and met with Premier Tonkin and senior Cabinet Ministers on Thursday 14 February 1980.
