Description :
This first edition of this newsletter includes a repudiation of the self interest of political parties at the expense of the public good.
The enfranchised women, through lack of leaders and organisation, have only too easily been absorbed into the party machine on the one side or the other, instead of forming a power of their own to work in the interests of women and children and the home. ... We believe in co-operation by both sexes and all classes for the common good of all, especially of those unable to help or protect themselves.
