Description : |
This map depicts the 'northern runs' of South Australia. The thick black line marks Goyder's Line of rainfall. This line was mapped by South Australia's surveyor-general, George Woodroffe Goyder, in 1865. It delineates between land that receives a high enough annual rainfall to support livestock or agriculture and land that does not. |
