The Adelaide Central Mission established the agricultural community at Meadows, which was named Kuitpo Colony, in 1933. The aim was to create employment for young men during the Depression of the 1930s. Kuitpo continues to be a place where men recovering from a variety of problems can experience rehabilitation. |
