Medal awarded to Holden for the 'Exhibition of most value to the state' at the Royal Adelaide Exhibition, 1947. The Royal Adelaide Exhibition was held by the South Australian Chamber of Manufactures in order to make a 'practical contribution towards the re-establishment of industry and employment' after the Second World War (Royal Adelaide Exhibition, 1947). The prize bestowed on Holden, in the trade displays category, was judged on 'its educational value in displaying in the best manner an industry of value to the State' (Royal Adelaide Exhibition, 1947). |
