Description :
In 1973 a series of radio programmes aimed at Catholic young people were produced by a team including Sister Janet Mead, and broadcast weekly on Radio Station 5KA. This was part of a focus on the needs and interests of youth within the church, and an attempt to use mediums other than the traditional Sunday church service to increase the involvement of young people within the church. At the time, Sister Janet was particularly well-known due to the international success of her recording of 'The Lord's Prayer'.
