Tracks: Bookshelf -- Writing Monday -- Miss independent (paranoia blues) -- Broken hearts-- A year or two Morning Glory grew from a previous band called The Fortune Tellers (1986-1987). The Morning Glory lineup included Deryck Charles, Steve Fieldhouse, Dave Norris and Greg Vincent who had also been with The Primitive Painters, and Dave Bosanko who had been with Dandelion Wine They released a mini album in September 1988 titled First Light. The Advertiser (14 April 1988) wrote, '[Morning Glory] has struggled for two years to find a niche in the Adelaide music scene ... the quintet is beginning to win favor for its ambitious, original songs'.
