Description : |
Two men by a a large sea-lion caught at Pearson Islands, it is suspended over the deck of a ship, possibly the Governor Musgrave. Today in South Australia all seals and sea-lions are protected under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972. It is illegal to kill or harm them in any way. Seals have however been known to attack tuna farms in the search for food, which places them directly at risk of injury or worse.
