Description : |
Wild goats amongst rocky terrain at Yardea, north of the Gawler Ranges. Goats arrived in Australia with the First Fleet in 1788. Feral goats are most commonly found in semi-arid and arid pastoral areas used for sheep grazing, where water is common and the dingo is absent or uncommon. They eat most types of plants in these areas. |
