Description : |
The River Torrens in flood in 1923 and threatening a house at Grange. Through the 1920s it was believed that flooding now occurred with lesser amounts of rainfall. This was largely due to the increased clearing of land in the Torrens catchment and more urbanisation which meant increased runoff. |
