Description : |
Musical compositions by Italian composers were often performed and appreciated by the South Australian public. The admiration that non-Italian performers had for these musicians prompted their adoption of Italian sounding names, with the hope of attracting greater critical acclaim. There is speculation that Alberto Agrati was a pseudonym for Reginald Stoneham. |
