Blue glass and metal trophy awarded by sponsor Fosters to winning drivers from 1986 to 1993. Drivers awarded the trophy were: Alain Prost (1986 and 1988), Gerhard Berger (1987 and 1992), Thierry Boutsen (1989), Nelson Piquet (1990) and Ayrton Senna (1991 and 1993). The glass is engraved with the names of the winning drivers. The cylindrical blue glass sits on a round silver metal base from which rise four square-sided shafts each topped with a silver metal stylised kangaroo in flight. The Australian Formula One Grand Prix was held in Adelaide between 1985 and 1995. A street circuit was set up in the city on public roads in and around the parklands and the Victoria Park horseracing course. |
