Description :
The South Australian State Folk Festival was first held in Burra in 1979. Since then it has moved around the State to be held in other localities such as Mannum, Murray Bridge, Port Adelaide and Goolwa. It was held at Victor Harbor for a number of years and became known as the Victor Harbor Folk Festival. Organised by the Folk Federation of South Australia, the festival is currently on hiatus.
