Description :

This documentary created by South Australian company Cine News Productions takes us behind the scenes of the Adelaide Christmas pageant and illustrates the hard work and preparation that goes into staging the event.

A touch of magic relates the story of the pageant which, as a non-commercial event, is unique in the world. There are scenes from the first pageant in 1933, interviews with various people involved with the pageant - from the beginnings to the present day - and insights into the months of preparation and the logistics of the day itself.
