Description :

Children playing on a homemade seesaw consisting of a plank laid across a saw horse. Seesaws are among the most popular pieces of play equipment and in this form are the simplest to make. The question of balancing the weight distribution is among the earliest practical examples of physics in the playground.

Surprisingly there appears to be only one schoolyard rhyme for seesaws:

Seesaw Marjorie Daw

Jack shall have a new master

He shall have but a penny a day

Because he can't work any faster
