A group of Non-Commissioned Officers of the 2nd South Australian contingent to the South African War in camp, probably at the Old Exhibition Grounds, east of Frome Road. Back row L-R: Cpl. Corporal Harry 'Breaker' Morant went on to infamy when he was executed after being found guilty of killing Boer prisoners in his care.
