Description by gay activist, Will Sergeant, of the first Gay Pride Week which was held in South Australia from 8 - 16 September 1973. Events included a press conference, gay pride dance, the planting of 60 pink crosses in the lawn adjacent to the War Memorial and Adelaide's first gay pride march on the morning of Saturday 15 September 1973. |
