Minutes of the inaugural meeting of the Defence Society, held on 25 February 1933, which was convened and chaired by Natalia Davies. Also included are the minutes for the meetings 1 August 1939, 29 August 1939, 19 September 1939 and 19 October 1939. These meetings variously covered the causes and prevention of fires, fire drill practice, and talks on the respirator, the trench system and electricity and the misuse of domestic appliances. |
