The Birdsville Track in outback South Australia can be a hot and desolate journey as well as one of incredible scenery, distinctive characters and historical interest. This footage produced by Festive Video of Adelaide in 2000 shows us the welcoming watering hole of the Mungerannie Hotel, where outback travellers can quench their thirst and partake of some local knowledge. Also featured are the relics of trucks used by the legendary outback delivery man, Tom Kruse.
