The State Library has the best wine literature collection in the Southern Hemisphere, including the Thomas Hardy Wine Library, the Cellarmaster Collection of Rare Wine books, as well as collections of wine labels, company archives, drinking songs, and other ephemera connected with wine and wine making. This 1999 promotional video launched a fund-raising appeal by the State Library of South Australia Foundation. It is introduced by media identity Keith Conlon and includes commentary from past librarian and wine buff, Valmai Hankel. This excerpt starts with a short section about the Library's Bradman Collection. |
